Systemic model

Model describing the behaviour of radionuclides absorbed into blood, the distribution and retention in various organs and tissues, and the subsequent excretion from the body by various pathways. Systemic models are intended both for the derivation of dose coefficients and the interpretation of bioassay data. (Adapted from ICRP Publication 130, 2015)
