Lymphatic system

Part of the vascular system and an important part of the immune system, comprising a network of fine lymphatic vessels that collects tissue fluids from all over the body which are then filtered and processed in lymph nodes and returned to the blood. (Adapted from ICRP Publication 118, 2012)
