Blood flow to the heart muscle. Perfusion malfunctions may arisefrom coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, hypertrophiccardiomyopathy and wall motion abnormalities. Myocardial perfusion can beexamined with Nuclear Medicine, CT and MRI studies.
