Relocation

The non-urgent removal or extended evacuation of people to avoid long term exposure from deposited radioactive material. Relocation is considered to be permanent (sometimes termed resettlement) if return is not foreseeable (typically if it continues for more than several years); otherwise it is temporary relocation.
