no edit summary
Narrowing of the coronary arteries which supply oxygenated blood to the heart muscles. Symptoms depend on the degree of narrowing and on whether the narrowing is acute or progressed over a period of time. Typically, and depending on the degree of obstruction, symptoms occur as angina. Prolonged obstruction can lead to myocardial infarction. (Adapted from [[ICRP Publication 118]], 2012)
